When booking, a non-refundable deposit of 25% is required, with the balance due 6 weeks before the start of your holiday. Payment can be made via PayPal (no account needed and you can use your credit card if you wish), or direct into our bank. More details on booking.
Please note from April to October we can only accept a minimum of a week’s booking but the rest of the year is 3 nights.

If you hire a car, we meet you in the local village to guide you to Casita Maria - we do not want you to get lost on the first day of your holiday! This is a great relief to most ... especially when arriving in the dark!
For those who may not wish to rent a car, we can provide a "taxi" service to Alora and Estacion de Cartama - please check before booking your holiday. We can also pick you up and drop you off at Malaga Airport - 35 euros each way - this includes stopping at the supermarket to pick up supplies on your way up the mountain.

Whilst inexpensive to rent, the accommodation is by no means "budget" class! Every care has been taken to make sure that this lovely cabin will provide you with all the creature comforts needed for your special holiday.

*Shaded pergola with screening that rolls up (it's hardly ever needed - in the summer it's so dry here that there are very few mossies)complete with table and chairs too.
*A wonderful old olive tree providing perfect shade throughout the year.

Casita Maria is primarily for those who want to getaway by themselves and relax in peaceful surroundings with the occasional foray to top up supplies in the local supermarket or take a trip to El Chorro (wonderful mountains and lakes), Ronda (beautiful historic city perched on a cliff top) or Granada (with the world famous Moorish Alhambra).
