Baby and family friendly, our new, well appointed and equipped, 2 bed roomed, 6 sleeper apartment is equally perfect for a family or a group of adults. Located above the town of Bansko at the edge of the Pirin National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is approximately 200m fairly level walk from the Ski Road (home ski run) and commands views of both the mountains and valley from its two balconies.
As part of a four-star hotel complex our guests will benefit from a range of quality facilities including a swimming pool, spa centre with a hot tub/jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, a fitness centre, bar/restaurant and a 24 hour concierge. Our apartment offers a full range of equipment with extras should a baby or young child be visiting.

Property rental Conditions
1. ALL bookings are subject to a compulsory 45 EUR Service and Cleaniing charge which includes apartment preparation, reception services, linen, towels and final cleaning.
2. A deposit of the equivalant of a 3 night stay is required to secure the reservation.
3. The remainder of the monies is required a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the stay.
4. If booking within 4 weeks of staying, the whole cost is due.
5. A returnable breakage credit card deposit is required and will be collected at check-in.
6. The payment for the first 3 nights includes preparation and cleaning costs.
7. Our preferred payment method is by PayPal. Payment in most currencies is possible without you needing your own PayPal account - we will generate an invoice to match the currency. Payment by PayPal does not cost you any extra. Alternatively a cheque in English pounds will be accepted.
8. Payment in GBP will be calculated at the rate mentioned on the XE.com site (see above) on the day the invoice is generated and sent to you.
9. The price includes local tourist tax.

The ‘all season’ resort of Bansko, is situated in the south west of Bulgaria at the foot of the Pirin mountains 936m above sea level and has a population of around 10,000.
The old town, dominated by the church’s beautiful bell tower is situated near the centre and is most picturesque with narrow cobbled streets and quaint old buildings. It is worth exploring as are the approximately 100 mehanas, the local restaurants, which are nearly always atmospheric and attractive. There is plenty of nightlife especially during the ski season including a number of night clubs.
The Pirin National Park area where the ski slopes are situated, has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and encompasses some 60 alpine peaks which rise above 2,500m. A number of almost extinct animal species can still be found here.
It is one of Bulgaria’s new generation, rapidly expanding ski resorts boasting some 70km of runs. Over the last few years the resort has been rejuvenated with the installation of state of the art lifts and piste maintenance equipment. Snow cover is maintained by the use of snow cannon. The longest run is a massive 16 km from the top station at 2600m.

Situated on the fourth floor and served by a lift one enters a large hallway which is big enough to take a cot or one of the tip-resistant camp beds which have been added as extras if families prefer not to use the sofa bed in the lounge. Overlooking the valley with a small balcony are the living room and larger bedroom while across the hall is the smaller, but amply sized double bedroom which overlooks the complex landscaped courtyard and commands a view of the mountains from its larger balcony.
The hotel and apartment block has been finished to a high standard as befits a 4 star rating. F14 is our holiday home and we have gone out of our way to make it a home from home with many of the small extras one does ot usually see in holiday letting.
Main Room: Double convertible settee, another 2-seater settee, a table with 6 chairs, TV,DVD player and a variety of DVDs, internet point (access available for a small weekly fee from the hotel)and a wood-burning fire.
Kitchen area: Fan oven with a grill, 4-ring electric hob, extractor fan, integrated refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster

Bedroom 2: This is a larger room and has room for the same equipment as in bedroom 1 but can also accommodate a cot or camp style bed suitable for a child (both of which are available in the apartment).

F14 has its own two balconies overlooking the valley and the mountains. It has the use of all the facilities of the Mountain Dream 4 star complex although some of these are at extra charge to the hotel. These include the courtyard garden, swimming pool and spa/fitness centre etc. Mountain Dream Complex is in its second year of operation but the hotel is just opening for this winter season so there should be increased and improved facilities for our guests to access.

Mountain Dream is a 4 star conference hotel and apartment complex just starting its first year of full operation. It is situated above the town of Bansko on the low slopes of the Pirin Mountains just next to the start of some of the walking trails and 200 m from the Ski Road. It is 1 km above the gondola and there is a shuttle bus from the hotel to the gondola should one prefer not to ski down to it.

Travelling from Sofia airport to Bansko takes about 2.5 - 3 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. There is a public bus but most people either hire a car or take a car transfer which are easily available but should be booked in advance.
Bansko station is a a small local station and an ideal outing. The nearest mainline station is about 1 hour away.
