This beautiful holiday home is spacious, tastefully finished and has its own fully enclosed private courtyard. It stands detached on the grounds of the owners' home which enjoys a garden,with wandering hens which ensure your first mornings breakfast and a natural pond, complete with three drakes.
Just half a mile from the pretty village of Durrus with its excellent shop, guaranteeing you of fresh bread and produce from 8am 'til 9pm. Two exceptional restaurants and four pubs.
Durrus, at the head of Dunmanus Bay, is at the gateway to the spectacular Mizen and Sheeps Head Peninsulas.
There are options for enjoyable activities locally, with walking and cycle routes - cycle hire available at the cottage - and gardens to visit. From Schull take a boat trip to Cape Clear Island, whilst Bantry, six miles away, offers golf, cinema and the delightful Bantry House. Visit the Bamboo Park at Glengariff, or take a boat from there, via the seals, to see the wonderful Italian Gardens on Garinish Island. Or maybe you would rather go on a Whale Watching excursion? There is so much to see and do. And at the end of a long day enjoy a barbecue by the pool and watch the sun go down over the bay.

There is a strict no smoking policy inside the cottage.

Well behaved dogs are more that welcome, however they MUST NOT be left unattended in the cottage under any circumstances.

The cottage will be thoroughly cleaned at the end of your stay, however we do ask that it is to be left in a satisfactory condition. A €50 cleaning deposit is to be paid with the final balance. This will be paid back within 7 days providing that extra cleaning costs are not entailed.
