My romantic apartment is situated 10 minutes walk from San Marco. Piccola Perla is rightly named little pearl.Situated on the ground floor of a C16 building,it has its own private courtyard. The bedroom with an en suite marble shower room,has a king sized bed which is furnished in silks and velvet.The courtyard has chairs where you can sip a complimentary glass of Prosecco.The sitting room has a large sofa bed which can be used to accommodate extra guests. It has been said it is just like staying with friends rather than a rented apartment.San Antonin is a beautiful area with shops and cafes. Two famous restaurants are near by Al Cova and Corte Sconta.Carpaccio paintings are around the corner at Scola degli Schiavoni.The local supermarket has a wonderful deli department.Vaporetto stops are on the Riva. The Lido is 5 minutes by boat.Bedding and towels provided. A maid service at the end of the stay.Neighbours are Venetian.

Property rental Conditions
Payment in stirling. A provisional booking made by phone or email can be held for 5 days, to allow for the return of the booking form and reservation deposit,plus £50 returnable security deposit.
The booking form, signed by the client, is a contract between the owner of the property and the client. The contract is made when the confirmation of booking is issued.
In the event of cancellation, for any reason, the reservation deposit and security deposit will not be refunded. In the event that the balances due are not paid by the due date then the reservation deposit will be forfeit to the owner and the property re-let. Payment in full is required no later than eight weeks before the start of the holiday. The completed payment is not refundable.(suggest insurance is taken out upon booking)

Museums are often closed for one day as are restaurants.Shops apart from the supermarket and some tourist shops close from 1 to 4pm.In summer the no 1 vaporetto goes to the Lido(beach) every 10 minutes.Reverse along The Grand Canal.
Boats go to islands of Murano Burano and Torcello.There are trips to the Brenta Canal and Palladian villas. Also wine tastings in the Veneto.Verona Padua Vincenza and Treviso are within travelling distance by train.

The apartment is a more recent conversion in a C16 building. The floors are marble and the ceilings beamed.Rugs are on the floor and the walls clothed in hangings, paintings and etchings.There is a dining table and chairs, plus the sofa. The mini kitchen is secluded behind folding doors.A wide variety of utensils.DVD player, radio and library.

Ramo del'Arco is a narrow lane and the apartment has a green security door set into the wall.This opens into a long private courtyard with an ancient well now filled with plants.Pretty iron chairs create a sitting area, shady in the heat of the day.The glazed door into the sitting room is the entrance to the apartment.Outdoor boxes are available for suitcases. Wellingtons and umbrellas are provided.
