Spacious,well appointed and equipped, this newer home is located on a quiet road on the south west side of the Island within a 5 minute walk of the "Marco Walk" where there are several restaurants, the cinema and a small number of exclusive shops. It is also within a realistic 12 minute walk to the south beach and a 5 minute drive to Tigertail beach. This 3 bedroom/2 bathroom luxury home is tiled in all the main living areas and has extra high vaulted ceilings.With an open floor plan, it has a Great Room with sitting, formal dining, kitchen and breakfast areas. In addition it has a separate den with its own TV. There is a private mesh screened area at the rear with a 28’ heated pool. Facing south for all day sun, it has an outside hot and cold shower; plenty of pool furniture, ample sitting/sunbathing areas and a gas grill (barbeque). Although full size, the pool is a maximum of five feet deep giving the floor a gentler slope. Our home also has high speed internet access - need own PC.

Property rental Conditions
For payments in sterling a £100 per week deposit is required, payment then becomes due 60 days before the arrival date. There is a £250 refundable which is returned within 4 weeks of the departure date. US dollar bookings are slightly different please enquire.

Marco Island, the largest of the Ten Thousand Islands is on the Gulf Coast just a two hour drive through the Everglades from Miami and four hours from Orlando. Built around a canal system, this exclusive Island, measuring only six miles by four, is tranquil, idyllic and the perfect place for a safe family holiday in the sun.
With its beautiful white sands stretching all down the west side of the Island, the beaches are un-crowded and un-spoilt. The inviting warm blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico are a perfect place to bathe or to simply spot the many dolphins that come close to the shore. In particular, the beach provides a perfect vantage point to watch the breathtaking sunsets. The South Beach offers jet skiing and even paragliding, while Tigertail beach in the north of the Island has kayak rentals, pedalos and a children's play ground. There are only three public access points to the beach (but no restrictions once you get on it, all areas are public), the nearest South beach entrance is 0.6 miles from our home (a realistic 12 minute walk or less than 5 minutes by bicycle). The other South beach entrance is 1 mile away and Tigertail beach a 5 minute drive away.

Although an Island (accessible by 2 bridges), Marco Island offers everything for the holdiay maker. Water sports include jet skiing, paragliding, back water and deep sea fishing. From the local marina you can take a day trip to Key West,join a sight seeing or dinner cruise around the Island. Hire your own boat and sail to beaches inaccessible by land and into Naples.
A 25 minute drive away is the Everglades where you can take a ride in an airboat or swamp buggy.
The Island has a large number of unique boutiques and stores, providing for all your needs and over 70 restaurants.
The city of Naples is only a 20 minute drive away and with its large shopping mall, factory outlet shops, stylish downtown area and the famous Tin City, it is a haven for shoppers.
Golfers paradise is one way of describing Florida. This area of Florida is no exception. With at least six public courses within 30 minutes and many more within a 45 minute drive, you will be spoilt for choice. All the courses are of the highest standard, with the nearby Lely Resort offering a choice of two championship courses designed by Lee Travino and Robert Trent Jones.

Although our home is located on a quiet residential road, "The Marco Walk" is only a five minute walk away. Here you will find several restaurants including Italian, Mexican, International cuisine, a fish and seafood restaurant, a sushi bar, Irish Pub and Grille (serving Guinness and British beers) and a Sports Bar. In addition to these, there are a further 4 restaurants within 5 minutes of our home. At night, the Marco Walk becomes a lively place to visit and you can choose to eat outside or indoors in air conditioned comfort. It is also the home of the local cinema which offers you the almost unique experience of being able to dine as you watch the movie. There are several stores offering a range of items including crafts and gifts, beach items, clothes and an ice cream parlor. In addition, there are many more shops and restaurants located elsewhere on the Island.
The beach is a relaistic 12 minute walk away.
Disney is a 3½ - 4 hour drive away and Busch Gardens in Tampa just under 3 hours.
