Villa El Gallo is located above La Herradura bay on the Punta de la Mona with exceptional views of the beach, village and mountains and good access to the N340 motorway. This luxury, five bedroom villa is situated in a beautiful, quiet complex of detached properties, approached by a secure, gated entrance with lovely pine woodlands. It affords magnificent and quite exceptional sea views over the bay of La Herradura with a backdrop of the mountains beyond. Stunning sun-sets and spectacular views across the bay are just part of the charm of this villa. The south-facing gardens are an ideal place to soak up the last of the sun at the end of the day, with a glass of wine as you relax and unwind on your holiday. La Herradura is one of the few remaining un-spoilt villages on the Costa Tropical, that can offer a truly Spanish experience in a wonderful, tranquil environment. The town is situated on the beach road with many outside bars and restaurants offering first rate food.

Prices are for the property per week in Euros. Monthly lets at 10% discount. Winter 2 monthly lets at 15% discount. Winter monthly lets - no cleaning, towels, or laundry is included.
Deposit of 250 Euros, is payable in cash on arrival at villa, returned at end of stay. 50% deposit at time of booking - non refundable and remaining 50% four weeks before departure to the villa. To be paid by bacs transfer. The villa is normally booked on a Saturday to Saturday basis, checking in time being 2pm and checking out time being 10am. All additional maid services must be paid direct to villa staff on day of works in cash (euros). La Herradura beach is four minutes by car and 10 mins by foot and for the brave, under 2 mins by mountain bike! The Marina beach is sandy, secluded, clean and quiet. The La Herradura beach has beach side restaurants and bars and has pedalos, canoes, water-skiing and wind-surfing available. Nerja beach - a 12 min drive away has a golden, sandy beach which is great for children and building sandcastles. All beaches in the area have the coveted 'blue flag' awards for cleanliness.

Villa fitted with hot/cold air-conditioning. The villa is situated inside a gated estate. The entrance has 24 hour security, electric gates and night patrols. The villa has a security alarm system and Spanish architectural grilles to all the doors and windows. The gated urbanisation affords secure parking, a short staircase above the main entrance. The villa is accessed from two points - via a wide staircase. There is access to the beach, through the garden and back entrance - a short walk away. The private swimming pool is on the higher level/tier of the garden and is 9m x 4m in size - 1 metre deep at the shallow end. There is a large, built-in BBQ. There is a garden table with chairs, sun loungers, foot stools and timber pergoda on the upstairs balcony, together with tables and chairs.
The house is suitable for children and has the option of cot beds if required.

La Herradura village is 4 mins drive. Marina del Este is 3 mins drive. Nerja a 10 minute drive away has caves to explore, Almunecar is 10 min drive. Motril is 20 min drive. Malaga is 50 mins, Granada is 60 mins, Marbella is 90 mins, Gibralter is 120 mins and Puerto Banus the world famous marina is 100 mins drive. Las Alpujarras mountain range is 40 mins. The world famous, 'ninth wonder of the world', the Alhambra Palace is 50 mins drive away.
