Pamuk Tarlasi is situated in the beautiful Turkish town of Dalyan. Nestling quietly amongst mountains with it's lake, the ancient ruined city of Kaunos and the world famous Itzusu beach, it has wonderful wildlife and culture. The area is a nature reserve and designated World Wildlife Heritage Centre. Strict building regulations prevent any build now over 2 stories high. You'll not find any huge apartment blocks or multi level hotels here. The aim is sympathy with nature and the environment. Within an easy walk of quiet restaurants and bars, Villa Pamuk Tarlasi is a perfect place to explore the region. Whether you enjoy the river boats with trips to markets across the lake, the mud baths or head out on the Mediterranean for a trip on a beautiful Turkish Gullet (sailing ship), bird watching, walking or mountain biking or perhaps the many day trips to the regions other places of interest Dalyan is the place.

Whether you want to go fishing, scuba diving, horse riding, white water rafting, walking, mountain biking or simply lounging by the pool in the sunshine with the occassional Turkish Bath it's all possible from Dalyan. I try to keep a villa book up to date with things to do and places to see. There is a mobile phone left in the villa for the use of guests and as well as the emergency numbers there is installed the local Taxi Driver and those restaurants that will collect and return you to the villa.

As with the exterior, the interior tries to be sympathetic with its mountain and lake environment. A beautiful wooden Turkish ceiling is a main feature of the two living rooms. There are comfortable seats and coffee tables as well as a Turkish seating area with cushions and a small table. There is a DVD player and television, a library with an ever increasing selection of books and DVDs. The villa was mainly designed as our holiday home. The wall to wall sunshine of July and August tend to encourage us to live outside from first thing in the morning to late at night. However, if you would like more information about the interior, feel free to ask.
Bedroom Facilities

The bedrooms are spacious, 2 with king size beds and 2 rooms with twins. There is also a sofa bed in the upstairs lounge should any extra guests want a sleep-over. All bedrooms are air conditioned but there is also one window in each room that has an insect net so that it can be left open if required.
Bathroom Facilities

Each bed room has its own en-suite shower room/wet room. The windows in the bathrooms have insect nets to allow them to be left open without the fear of being bothered by bugs.

The villa itself is situated in mature landscaped gardens and next to the swimming pool we have put a bar area with the BBQ, a sink, fridge and a CD player, tables and chairs. The 8 sun beds all have soft mattresses so no fighting and throwing your towel on them first thing in the morning. Many of our previous guests have commented on how much they enjoy the cane rocking chairs on the veranda.

There are a lot of bars and restaurants in Dalyan but it is not what I would call a "boom boom" area. The live music in some bars is often just a guitarist or Turkish instrument player. There are very authentic Turkish restaurants and also those that will deal more multi culturally with Moussaka, Lasagna, Spaghetti Bologna's or the occasional English breakfast etc.

Usually a Friday as there are many flights then from most UK airports. Occassional a Monday. I do try to be flexible and other days are more likely to help accommodate late bookings.
