Lovely Croatian villa located on the harbour in one of Croatia's most popular seaside villages.
Although not large, the house feels spacious because the rooms radiate from a large central hallway.
With panoramic sea views from every window, the house also has a large terrace over- looking the sea, with a large table, six reclining chairs and a large umbrella to keep of the sun that can get very hot in the summer months.
The kitchen has a large cedarwood table with six chairs and plentiful china and cooking equipment. A full-sized stove means that you can cook a roast dinner if you wish.
Located in the centre of the village, the house is close to the bakery, open-air farmers' market, pharmacy, post office, bank, internet shop and supermarket.
Despite the many little bars, restaurants, and exclusive little shops around the harbour Bol is still a fishing village and fishermen work on their boats and repair their nets on the harbour.
Zlatni Rat, Croatia's most famous beach, is a short walk from the house, and Bol is famous for its watersports [the diving centre is nearby] and night life.
Fortunately, the house is tranquil due to air-conditioning & double-glazing.

When guests express a wish to book Harbour House we send a copy of our Booking Conditions, Booking Form and Invoice.
30% deposit on booking, unless the commencement of the holiday is less than 7 weeks away, when we require full payment on booking.
When balance of payment is received we e-mail details of our property manager, with whom guests should liaise to inform her of travel details etc.
If required, our property manager can provide baby sitting or a cook. We can also provide details of the harbour master for those who wish to moor a boat in Bol Harbour.

It is advisable to rent a car [there is a little car hire company near the ferry dock in Supetar] as, although there are lots of buses zipping around the island, the main bus station is in Supetar, across the island from Bol.

From the spacious entrance hall you enter a large kitchen with cedarwood table and 6 chairs. This is well stocked with dishes and cookery equipment and you can eat your breakfast whilst looking out over the harbour.
A large ground-floor bedroom contains a king-
sized bed, two bedside cabinets, bedside lamps, chest-of-drawers, built-in wardrobe and a single divan bed, used as a window seat.
Stairs lead to the bathroom [deep shower-tub for bathing children, plentiful hot water]. A door from this leads to the patio and garden.
Continuing up the stairs you find the second bedroom containing a king-sized bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinets, lamps, chest-of- drawers and dressing table.
The terrace sitting room contains a sofa, two large chairs, store-cupboard, walk in wardrobe alcove, table, Satellite TV, and a truckle bed [that opens up into two comfortable full-sized single beds: one pulls out from beneath the other].
The house is simply, but elegantly furnished. Its English owners have brought IKEA cooking utensils and prints for the walls. These have been supplemented by lovely etchings by Croatian artist Branco Modic.

The garden at Harbour House is hidden away behind the house.
From the bathroom you walk out onto the new marble terrace with table, six chairs and umbrella.
The top terrace is laid out as a mandarine orchard, the lower terrace has the patio, flowers and bushes.

Bol is a fishing village. Voted the most popular resort in 2008, it boasts the most famous beach in Croatia, wonderful watersporting facilities, a sophisticated night life and wonderful summer climate.
Harbour House is at the heart of everything, but remains tranquil because of its double-glazing, secondary double-glazing and air-conditioning.

Split Airport is the closest to Bol. A short taxi ride brings guests to Split Harbour and the ferry trip to Brac on the Jadrolinija Ferry takes 45 minutes. The ticket to Supetar, the pretty little Brac ferry port, costs approx. 30 Croatian Kuna [or £3.00].
