Description
Spacious, sunny seafront house with panoramic sea views from every window, in Bol, famous watersports centre. Close to Zlatni Rat [the most famous beach in Croatia] Harbour House is at the centre of the village and is close to the local farmers' market, supermarket, post office, bank, bakery, internet shop, watersports centre and a multitude of small bars, restaurants and boutiques.
Although Harbour House is at the centre of a lively village, our double-glazing and secondary double-glazing ensures that the house is peaceful.
British Airways, Easyjet, Croatia Airlines and others fly multiple weekly flights to Split Airport. A short bus or taxi ride brings guests to Split Harbour where they catch the Jadrolinija Ferry [1 per hour] to Supetar, the pretty little ferry port for Brac. A bus or taxi ride [bus station near Supetar Dock] takes you across the island to Bol. It is possible to take a Cesna flight from Split Airport to Brac Airport.
It is also possible to fly Ryanair to Ancona and take the [rather luxurious] overnight Blue Line ferry to Split, arriving at Split Harbour at 7 am.
The buses are good but it is quite fun to buzz around the island in a car.

Property rental Conditions
When a guest has indicated their wish to make a booking we e-mail them a copy of our Booking Conditions, Booking Form and Invoice. Normally we require a 30% Booking Deposit, but if booking occurs within 7 weeks of the holiday we require the total amount. Our Property Manager receives the 300 euro security deposit before handing over the keys. This is returned at the end of the holiday. She also collects the compulsory Croatian Tourist Tax of approx. 1 euro per person per day [in euros].

People fall in love with Bol. It really is a most delightful place; small but cosmopolitan. Whilst still a working fishing village, it also welcomes large yachts in the summer. If you wish, you can browse in the little harbour boutiques during the day, and promenade around the harbour wearing your latest designer t-shirt or jeans in the evening.

Harbour House is massively built out of the local white marble. It feels spacious because of its large central hallway from which rooms radiate.
Simply decorated to maintain its traditional ambiance, its English owners have brought IKEA pictures and kitchen utensils from the UK. There are also beautiful prints on the walls by a local Croatian artist.
The house has two large bedrooms with comfortable king-sized beds and a comfortable terrace sitting room [leading out onto a large seafront terrace with octagonal table, large umbrella and reclining chairs].

Bedroom 1: This contains a large, comfortable king-sized bed, two bedside cabinets, two bedside lights, a cot [with linen], a divan bed used as a window seat, and a built in wardrobe.

A truckle bed in the terrace sitting room opens up into 2 full-sized single beds. A walk-in cupboard contains a chest-of-drawers and clothes hanging space.

The modern bathroom contains a shower with a deep tub [suitable for bathing children], washbasin and loo. Shaving mirror and light. There is plentiful hot water provided by a large immersion heater.

Harbour House has a large seafront terrace with panoramic views over the whole of Bol.
Its garden is completely enclosed and is suitable for children. On the top terrace is a small mandarine orchard. The lower part of the garden has a newly constructed white marble patio with a table and six chairs and a flower garden.

Seaside village. Bol has its own small beach [30 metres from the house], The Monastery Beach is a 5 minute walk along the coastal path, and Zlatni Rat [The Golden Horn] is a short walk away. You can also take a boat from the harbour or, for children, a little road train chugs back and forth from Bol to Zlatni Rat.

There are other restaurants around the harbour but this one is absolutely fantastic, is located in an old fisherman's house, and is built on rocks next to the sea. It is next to the Dominican Monastery beach, and has small tables under feathery trees right on the beach where you can have coffee or a meal whenever you wish.
