It is one minute's walk to the beaches and crystal clear waters of the Ionian Sea and 10 minutes' level walk to Torre San Giovanni’s excellent range of restaurants, bars and shops.
The nearest sizeable town is Ugento, while the landmark city is historic Gallipoli, 16kms north along the coast. The nearest major city is the regional capital Lecce, as one of the most beautiful in Italy, while the civil airport at Brindisi is about an hour's drive away.
Ryanair operate several low-cost flights per week to Brindisi (and Bari) from London Stansted.
Italians from further north descend on the region in huge numbers during the annual vacation months of July and August, but outside of this period it is quieter and has much to entice the holidaymaker.
It offers a wide range of outdoor activities and relaxation - walking, cycling and horse riding, or sunbathing on the stunning beaches - as well as plenty of historic sights and a wide range of entertainment.

One-third of the rental should be paid at the time of confirming the booking. The balance should be paid no later than one calendar month before the start of your stay.
Deposit: We also ask for a returnable deposit of €250 in advance to cover any breakages or damage. The balance will be refunded within two weeks of the end of your stay.
Occupants: The maximum number of occupants is six.
Discounts: Guests booking for a second week will be entitled to a discount of 10% on the second week's rental.
Included: The rental charge is inclusive of gas and water.
