Sanctuary Villa is located on the prestigious community of Rotonda West in Englewood on the Gulf Coast of Florida. The villa is built to the very highest standards and is furnished superbly throughout. Sanctuary Villa has approximately 3300sq ft of living space offering a relaxing and calming ambiance for your vacation, including the tranquil view from the pooldeck of the canal which offers a natural refuge for visiting wildlife.
Our Gulf Coast home is professionally and thoughtfully decorated throughout in refreshing Florida Keys and nautical colours, themes and accessories. Sanctuary Villa has its own south east facing solar-heated swimming pool within a spacious, extended pooldeckwith its lovely views over the canal on Rotonda West. There is plenty of room to relax, including master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, 2 more bedrooms, 2 more bathrooms, and it can sleep up to 6 people. Our home is equipped with unlimited, free of charge wireless internet access, and unlimited free of charge telephone calls to geographical landline numbers within the United States, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Spain and Puerto Rico. A gas BBQ is available for guests to use.

$200 /£100 per week deposit required to secure the booking
Payment of balance
Following return of your booking form and deposit, you will be sent confirmation of your reservation, including the stated date for the payment of the balance due. Full payment must be received 10 weeks or more prior to departure date. Failure to make full payment within the specified period will entitle the owners to cancel the booking and claim the appropriate cancellation charges.
Security Deposit
Upon payment of the final invoice a security deposit will be required against any breakages, telephone charges or damage caused during the rental period. In the event of any charges being made you will be advised in writing, otherwise the deposit will be refunded within one calendar month after your return, pending a satisfactory inspection. An additional deposit (by way of credit card slip) may be required on arrival by the management company in Florida.
No smoking policy
Smoking is not permitted in any part of the villa, with the exception of the pool deck area.

Beaches, wildlife and beautiful sunsets!
A short drive from Sanctuary villa you can be on one of the many glorious beaches that grace the area. Relax on the beach on the pristine white sand and shells and let the gentle surf wash over your toes, or lose yourself in searching for beautiful shells and sharks teeth. You can relax for hours watching pelicans diving for fish, a pod of dolphins fishing up and down the shallow offshore waters or the sandpipers and other shorebirds dodging the surf as they probe the shoreline. Most evenings bring spectacular sunsets to view from the beaches, when seeing the sun literally appear to inch towards and then dip below the horizon is always magical. Our particular favourite beaches are Stump Pass State Park Beach, Gasparilla Island Beach and Boca Grande State Park Beach. Middle Beach and Stump Pass Beach are the closest, and as is normal in Florida, all are clean, easily accessible and with good restroom and water fountain facilities.

Our home has a spacious, fully equipped fitted kitchen with ceramic floor tiles and a full range of kitchen cabinets., including a centre island. Facilities include fitted oven & hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and garbage disposal.
The adjoining nook area comfortably seats 4 around a separate table, for breakfast or informal meals.
The seperate utility room has a utility sink, washing machine and tumble dryer as well as additional cupboard space and storage area. Iron and ironing board is provided.
Living room and formal dining area
The cathedral ceiling and patio doors make the living room a light and airy space to relax. A music centre is provided for listening to music. The internet router and telephone point are located here.

The comfortable and spacious family room is equipped with cable tv offering a wide range of digital and analog channels, and DVD player. A ceiling fan is provided for additional comfort.

Pool area
The fully screened solar heated pool is south-east facing giving access to the sun almost all day. However, the clever design of the house ensures that shade is always available when you need it. The lionhead water features provide the calming sound of gently trickling water, and together with the view of the scenic canal and visiting wildlife, you are guaranteed outdoor rest and relaxation. There are luxury table, chairs and loungers on the spacious pool deck, where you can relax with a cool drink or dine 'al fresco'. The pool deck is equipped with a pool half-bathroom, consisting of toilet, washbasin and changing area. A ceiling fan on the pooldeck can gently move the air for extra comfort on balmy days. Pool towels are provided.
Breakfast 'al fresco' is an especially lovely way to start the day - you can enjoy your meal while watching the herons fishing for theirs!
The garden is laid mainly to lawn and plants and shrubs and a variety of palms decorate the borders

Our Villa Has easy access to Charlotte Harbour. Good shopping and Glorious beaches. 3 golf courses are within walking distance of the villa with numerous other courses nearby. Fishing trips are run from Gasprilla Marina as well as trips in to the harbour for wildlife watching.

Sanctuary Villa is newly built and was completed in late 2006. The Villa is on the prestigious community of Rotonda West on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Our home has a South East rear aspect bringing sun to the pooldeck from breakfast to teatime and the fresh water canal at the bottom of the lawn attracts a wide variety of wild birds, fish, terrapins and other wildlife.
Rotonda West is one of the small, delightful communities located on the Cape Haze Peninsula in Charlotte County in the southwest Gulf Coast of Florida. This is a tranquil area of unspoiled natural beauty and has a rich history. The closest beach from the villa is about 10 minutes' drive, with a wide variety of different beaches and natural spaces within a 20 minute drive. Cape Haze Peninsula is approximately 100 miles south of Tampa, between the cities of Sarasota and Punta Gorda. It rests on the waters of the Myakka River and Lemon Bay.
The whole area is easily accessible from the Interstate 75. Orlando and its attractions are only a two hour drive away. Fort Myers and the Islands of Sanibel and Captiva lie to the South and are approx. 1 to 1.5 hour's drive.
