Description
Koala is a typical Savoyard style chalet with lots of natural stone and wooden beams, comfy and homely with large leather sofas, open log fire and honesty bar, hifi, sky tv, dvd, and wifi access, plese bring your laptop. A games room with air hockey, table tennis, table football and darts, a den with Nintendo wii, PS2, hifi, dvd, video, games, books and toys for all ages. Spectular views of the Ardent valley from the large sunny balcony which leads from the dinning area. Our sauna to help ease those well earned aches or we can arrange for some inhouse massage. The large garden is great for making snowmen or kicking a ball around in the summer or maybe a game of badminton, bbq and splash pool for summer use. Plenty of parking and it is an easy eight drive from Calais or transfers from Geneva can be arranged. Catered during the winter months, six nights out of seven and bed and breakfast with the option of an evening meal the rest of the year or use our garden bbq and cook yourself some local produce.

There is plenty of space for large groups and plenty to keep everyone entertained. Guests love the large open log fire especially as so many homes now do not have one. Children often end up in the basement amusing themselves with in games room or more often in the den for a game on the Wii. Our "boys" groups too have rallies and competitions with the table tennis and air hockey.
The large comfy lounge with honesty bar is on the first floor so away from the noise and commotion in the games room! Please feel free to bring your own favorite cd's or dvd's. The chalet is ideal for those family groups or friends to meet in one place and childcare can also be arranged with a local english nanny for inhouse child care.

Our large safe garden is great for little ones to play in the snow, make snowmen or snow angels or the bigger ones snowball fights! There is a basketball hoop to practice your moves or maybe have a game of volleyball; there are other outdoor games too! We have sledges which you are welcome to use and take to the slopes. I grow some of the herbs in the garden during the summer to use in the winter and also tomatoes, peppers and chillies! Summer in the garden is a relaxing time with unspoilt views of the mountains, beautiful clear blue skies and warm sunshine.

We can arrange your transfer from Geneva airport is necessary. A car is not essential in the winter months as the free ski bus stops at the end of our drive but may be useful but not essential for the rest of seasons if you wish to travel out of the area, Chamonix is just over an hour, Geneva and Annecy around the same or lake Geneva 30 mins to Thonon or Evain
