Casa Madeira has just been completely renovated using modern materials, but with workmanship in keeping with the traditional Portuguese style of this over 150 year old cottage. The whitewashed rustic walls and high, bamboo lined, open eucalyptus beamed ceilings, afford a particularly spacious feel to the single storey character cottage.rnrnHouses in Algarve do not generally have heating, as the climate is warm for most of the year. However there are radiators through the house to ensure the comfort of guests during those cooler months. Lighting, even in modern Portuguese houses, tends to be stark and sparing. This is not so with Casa Madeira which unusually, is lit to provide good light and a warm ambience.rnFully fitted kitche area.
