Vale do Lobo is an award winning resort and we believe it's a safe, self-contained complex and a fantastic location for a family holiday. Amenities include the fabulous new Royal Spa, (worth a visit just to look round!) a medical centre, supermarket, bank, chemist, hairdressers, newsagent and a variety of other shops, with more extensive shopping available a few minutes drive away in Almancil. The Praca in Vale do Lobo (main area close to the beach) provides a variety of restaurants and tasteful bars and there are lots of friendly, family-run Portuguese restaurants just a short drive away.
We are also near the fantastic 14 court Tennis Academy and there is access to a variety of watersports, horse-riding and go-karting just a short drive away.

The living area is comfortably furnished and equipped with BBC satellite TV and a DVD player. Sliding patio doors lead out to the south facing terrace, where there is a BBQ and table and chairs - perfect for 'al fresco' dining!
There is also an interior dining area with table and seating available for up to 6 people.

The downstairs terrace is equipped with barbecue, large patio table and parasol. The large upstairs terrace also has patio furniture, sunloungers and reclining chairs. (Our guests also have use of the facilities at Barringtons including pool terraces and sunloungers.)

Vale do Lobo has hosted the Portuguese Open Championships and its stunning Royal and Ocean courses are within a couple of minutes drive. Excellent courses can also be found at nearby Quinta do Lago, Vila Sol and Vilamoura - your inclusive Barringtons membership allows you to book through the club and to take advantage of discounted fees at many of these courses. At the club there's also a superb 29 bay driving range, a challenging 18 hole putting green and you can also arrange professional golf tuition.

All our guests have free membership of Barringtons - a 1st class club offering a wide variety of sport and leisure facilities. In addition to golf, there are indoor and outdoor pools, children's pool, large, well-equipped gym and a daily programme of fitness classes as well as squash courts, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, hairdresser's and beauty salon. In season, there are sometimes supervised activities for children if parents would like a well-deserved break!
