Both the Farmhouse & Gite have been refurbished to a high standard with exposed stonework & beams providing modern facilities with the charm of traditional Charentaise style with the Stables Gite is totally detached from the main farmhouse.
The 11 x 5 m swimming pool pool has steps for entry which are ideal for toddlers and is 1.1 m in depth at the shallow end, 2.2 m depth at the deep end. The pool is fenced with compliant security fence and childproof gate, with plenty of space for visitors to the house & gite. There is a good range of outside games available for use in the large garden including a 14 ft trampoline. Located in the shaded barn there is a full size table tennis ideal for the children or for evening adult tournaments, also available are 2 adult and 2 child bicycles.
The view from the farmhouse looks out across unbroken fields and sitting out in the evening with a glass of wine the sunsets fill the sky.

During peak time we rent for weekly stays, however during off peak we are happy to offer long stays for house hunting or weekends.
On booking we require a 20% non refundable deposit and full payment 6 wks before you holiday.
Welcome pack is provided, bed linen and cleaning is included.

Tournesol Ferme is set on the edge of a peaceful hamlet called Fondouce with a bread van that delivers daily to the hamlet. Situated in a very quiet location surrounded by fields with chalk roads which link together the villages, ideal for for walks or cycle rides through the cognac vines and sunflowers.
The nearest village is Beauvais sur Matha 1.5 miles & has bar, restaurant, bakers, butchers, cash point and pharmacy. The nearest town Matha, only 6 miles away, offers 2 supermarkets, restaurants, shops, banks and a daily indoor market selling local produce.
