Los lobos provides an exclusive holiday environment.The two charming cottages are part of the 200 year old farm,set amidst beautiful landscaped gardens and olive trees with horses in paddocks and Mexican style stables.The cottages can be rented seperately(both have private areas) or together for larger groups(discount given). The private 8x4m pool is heated for all year round use, a rare find in the Malaga area, and essential for use from Sep-June. It can be gated for children’s safety and has spectacular mountain views and a large sun terrace, secluded from the main garden. The cottages have been beautifully decorated in traditional rustic style and have private patios for dining, with gas BBQs. The village of Trabuco is a 5 minute drive. Families are very welcome and children love to help with the animals. A haven for bird-watchers, mountain bikers, horse-riders, walkers, climbers, photographers and painters, the scenery really is second to none. Our many repeat bookings and recommendations reflect enjoyment and satisfaction of our guests. Ideally situated for visiting all the main tourist areas.

We are always on hand to ensure that your holiday goes smoothly.The landscaped gardens and pool are constantly maintained to ensure the highest standards at all times.The pool area is raised above ground level,behind a wall, with stunning open views to the mountains.The heating ensures that you can enjoy the pool at 28 degrees for most of the year.Fully catered holiday packages,b&b and riding breaks available *your holiday will always feel exlusive,even if you are not our only guests,your privacy is important to us.Every thought has been given to your comfort and enjoyment.Everywhere you look you will see pots and flowers and pretty seating areas.Every improvement we have made to the farm reflects its original character,whilst still giving you modern comforts.Though we live on the farm,we respect your privacy and do our best to ensure that you do not feel that you are sharing your holiday with us,but remain quietly in the back ground should you have any problems.

both cottages, El Establo and El Granero Viejo are charmingly designed and provide everything you need for a comfortable holiday. They have two bedrooms,well equipped kitchens,dining table and chairs,living room with sofas tv/dvd, (we have a large selection of up to date DVDs to borrow free of charge) heating consists of electric panel heaters, woodburners and gas heaters.There are electric fans for the summer. A high chair, cot, baby bath and extra beds can be provided.

El Establo has a large twin bedroom downstairs and master bedroom with sink and w.c.upstairs.Both rooms have large picture windows with amazing mountain views.
El Granero Viejo has a double bedroom downstairs and upstairs bedroom on mezzanine with twin beds and spiral staircase, not suitable for the very young or old or infirm.
Extra beds or cots can be added, all linen is provided.

El Granero has its own patio,El Establo a private courtyard and roof terrace.Both cottages have Moroccan style tables and chairs,gas bbqs & sofas for relaxing.El Establo also has sunbeds for private sunbathing.The cottages are set in colourful landscaped gardens,with a central courtyard area with large wooden table and sofas that both cottages can share if holidaying together.You feel the charm of the beautiful old farm as soon as you park on the cobbled threshing circle.The 8 x 4m pool has a 2m deep end and 1m shallow end and the whole area can be gated for safety for small children.It is heated free of charge meaning you can swim all year round (can't guarantee in extreme cold weather),while enjoying the incredible mountain views, or simply sunbathe on the large terraces.There are parasols for shade and the sunbeds are ideal for stargazing-no light pollution makes for a stunning sky!What better way to enjoy the spectacular mountain sunsets than with a drink or meal on the pool patio.The cottages are a haven for guests requiring a relaxing away fromit all holiday.We believe the views are some of the best you will find in Spain. Horse riding and mountain bikes are available on site

The airports of Granada and Malaga are both a very easy 40 mins drive. Granada is new to the tourist traffic and consequently a lovely small airport. It is worth checking flights as they are often cheaper. It is recommended that you hire a car.*Note-Airport transfers may be arranged.Please realise that unless you are keen walkers or cyclists,you would be quite stranded once you were here. The source of the Guadalhorce river which flows into Malaga is situated in the mountain that appears to rise out of our garden. The water can be seen spurting out of the mountain, through the 100 pipes that have been placed there to make quite a spectacular sight. The delicious water at the farm comes straight from this mountain source.
There is a popular 18 hole golf course at Antequerra, 25 mins and many others on the coast within 1 hour.The Sierra Nevada ski resort is 1 hour 15 mins from the cottage. The season is usually long from beginning of December to end of April. It is great for all levels and has 80km of skiable piste. It is quite possible to ski in the morning and spend the afternoon on the beach. We use the resort ourselves and are happy to arrange guided ski excursions if required

The village of Villanueva del Trabuco with its many restaurants, shops and bars is a 5 min drive. There is a lovely restaurant in a converted water mill a 5 minute walk away. The beautiful towns of Archidona and Antequerra are nearby.
The nearest 'Tesco' style supermarket is only a 15 minute drive. The countryside surrounding the farm is National Park and popular with Spanish wishing to escape the hustle of the towns. Granada /malaga 40 mins. Antequerra 25 mins.Cordoba 90 mins. Seville 2 hours.There are 2 bars and restaurants approx 2kms from the cottage and the village has a very good choice of banks, shops and restaurants. Other activities such as Hang gliding, motorbike hire, guided walking/mountain biking, paintballing, birdwatching, off road land rover tours or Spanish lessons can all be arranged locally. Scuba diving, skiing or boat safaris to see dolphins can be arranged further afield. The town is typically Spanish and has numerous fiestas through the year where you can witness their culture first hand, with the beautiful horses and women in fiesta dresses.The nearest beaches are a 40 min drive. There are also beautiful inland lakes with beaches within 25 mins.

Changeover Day

In the summer, changeover day is Saturday, after 4pm if possible to allow for thorough cleaning and maintainance. We aks that our guests leave by 10am for the same reason. We can be flexible though, and out of peak season will consider other arrival
