Dalyan is a super place and has a lot to offer its visitors; as well as the normal sun, sea and sand, it also has a freshwater lake, a river, mud baths, hot springs, an historic city and beautiful mountain scenery in whichever direction you look. The whole region is a national conservation area, and home to numerous varieties of birds, and three types of turtle, including the protected loggerhead “Caretta Caretta” sea turtle. Tourism is a relatively new venture for the local people who previously earned their livings from agriculture, especially cotton farming. Nowadays, cotton is still grown locally but it is being slowly phased out in favour of orange and lemon farming which is much more profitable. It is not unusual to see fields with orange and lemon trees growing among the cotton plants as it will take about 6 years for a tree to yield any fruit.

Our service people can, for a small charge, provide high chairs, cots and baby car seats. The Karadag Mountain Mill consists of 5 bedrooms, all en-suite, two large living rooms and a kitchen/dining room. All living and bedrooms have air-conditioning. Outside the kitchen has a patio for open air eating with a beautiful large ash table. It seats 8 but a small table & the 4 chairs from the kitchen can be added to provide enough seating for all the family. The upstairs balconies provide views of the mountains, fields and orange and lemon groves. There is also a quiet reading place upstairs facing the mountain which, in the evening, for that quiet night cap whilst star watching. The kitchen is fitted will all modern conveniences, dishwasher, microwave, coffee filter, etc etc. In the basement there is a utility room with two washing machines, iron, board etc there are also shelves with clean towels. Towels and linen are provided. The downstairs living room is equipped with Cable TV and a DVD player with an ever increasing selection of DVD’s" If you want, bring your laptop as there is also Wi-Fi.

Five large bedrooms. 3 with king beds and two with twins. all bedrooms have ample wardrobe space and a small dressing table. All rooms are en-suite.

4 bath rooms are wet rooms with showers only. There is a bath in the 5th bedroom downstairs.

Ten sunbeds with mattresses next to the swimming pool. with the bar close by easy to go to the fridge for a juice or beer. Other seating areas allow you to get away from it all for a quiet read.
