Il Miccino is a lovely apartment in the city of Florence, at just 2 km from the old city centre. Our apartment is located at the first (and last) floor of a typical building of the Florence of the thirties with high ceilings and bright rooms. It is about 40 sm, provides a spacious double room (16 sm) with period furniture, a corridor, air-conditioning, a shower-bath and a dinette kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, frezeer, kitchenware, sat-tv etc. From the kitchen you exit on a little balcony with view over the rear gardens.
Il Miccino is easy reachable from all city accesses (highway at 3km, airport at 3km, central railway station at 2,5 km). It is located in a nice little street, called Via Miccinesi, near Piazza Puccini, on the edge of Florence city centre. There are fee-parking facilities in Via Miccinesi or in the nearby streets.

Required minimum stay: 2 nights; 1 week, Sat/Sat, Jul/Aug. Pets not allowed. Prices are per week or night per property and include: taxes, bed linen, blankets, bath towels, kitchenware, sat-tv, log fire, cleaning (weekly), electricity, gas, water, air conditioning, dishwasher, washing machine. Free cot/highchair: pls. ask availability before arrival. Extras: laundry service, extra single/couch bed, dinner, heating. Heating costs: 15 Euro per property, per day. (to be paid onsite).
A deposit equal to 30% of the total rent, in Euro, by wire transfer, paid net of all bank charges, is due to confirm your reservation. Balance: cash (Euro), on arrival. Our holiday apartment is available for check-in only by appointment, after 4 PM. As we do not have a 24-hour desk, we ask that, whenever possible, all check-ins occur before 7PM. Check out time is at 11AM. A booking confirmation with directions will be emailed to you after receipt of your deposit.

As you already know Florence is full of amazing things to see. Our holiday untis are located centrally enough in order to start all your sightseeings. They are within a reach of shops, chemist, supersmarkets and restaurants. Our area is known as Piazza Puccini. You can go to the city centre with the bus (bus stop is just around the corner) or with a twenty minutes nice walk. The Florence airport as well as the central railway station and the highway are just at 10 minutes drive.
Our area is mainly a residential one, very close to the new Novoli University centre. At few km from our accommodation there is the biggest green area of Florence, the "Cascine", whose name derives from the ancient Medici stalls. In the XIXth century the "Cascine" was the most beloved space for carriage rides at sunset. In our area you can take a look at the Roman-Gothic church of S. Donato in Polverosa, consecrated in the XIIth century and from the outside at the villa degli Agli, a place where Grandukes usually met their foreign wives, before they triumphally entered the city.
